CHERISH is a unique and once-in-a-lifetime experience for Christian fathers and their teenage daughters.
Join us for an unforgettable four days and three nights, June 25-28 2025, in the incredible mountains of Colorado.
Designed for fathers and daughters to strengthen their relationship, cherish their time together, have lots of fun, and grow in faith, with just the right amount of adventure and activities thrown in.
Every session, every activity, every moment is created to help fathers and daughters create lasting memories, build stronger bonds, and grow in faith all while supporting and encouraging one another as they walk the walk Christ has planned for them.
The foundation of the entire event is the truth of Scripture, and the Good News of Jesus.

The MISSION
CHERISH is created to strengthen the bond between father and daughter. Getting away from the screens, the noise, and the busyness of every day life creates an opportunity to connect on a whole new level.
This is done through the powerful learning sessions, through the fun activities, through the great meals, and through the entire experience. Every moment is designed to help fathers and daughters grow even closer on their journey through this life – all based on the foundation of Jesus and Scripture.
Creating lifetime memories, building stronger bonds, and having fun adventures together – that is the mission!
The ADVENTURE
While the learning sessions are important, this event is not just about those moments. During the CHERISH experience, fathers and daughters will have lots of fun!
We’ll enjoy some great adventures outside, like hiking and rock climbing (rock climbing is led by the mountaineers on staff at the ranch).
And there will be some fun moments we can’t tell you about yet – we don’t want to spoil the surprise!
Note: Since we’ll be outside at over 9,000 feet, everyone will have to sign the waiver forms, and be ready to enjoy the mountain fun!
Second Note: Based on weather conditions, the outdoor activities may be limited, altered, or cancelled. Safety is a top priority for all who attend.
The RANCH
All lodging is included in your enrollment at CHERISH. And this isn’t “conference hotel room” style lodging, this is the real Colorado.
Fathers and daughters will be in separate cabins. Adult female supervision will be in the daughter’s cabin.
The cabins are shared, with hot water and electricity. On the ranch are hand-crafted log buildings, including some built over 100 years ago. This is an incredible and unforgettable mountain experience.
The FOOD
All meals are included in CHERISH, however this isn’t “hotel” food, this is outstanding mountain food provided by the private chef and staff of the ranch.
If you want to bring your favorite snacks along for yourself to enjoy while on your hikes you’re welcomed to, but your meals will be plentiful and memorable.

The benefits extend far beyond the day you head back home. One of our prayers with this event is that the relationship between father and daughter becomes stronger year after year, for decades to come. This event leads to generational impact.
Through the fun moments, the exciting (and appropriate) adventures, the learning sessions, and the time spent together, this event is designed to create and strengthen the lasting connection between father an daughter as they follow Christ together.
This is an All-Inclusive Event which costs only $1950!
If you and your daughter attend CHERISH your registration will cover 100% of the costs during the event. The chef who prepares the food and all your meals are included. The staff who takes care of the ranch and all your lodging is included. All your books and learning materials are included. The equipment for activities (ropes, harnesses, helmets, etc…) are included. The costs for the certified mountaineers who run the rock climbing are included. All the training sessions over the four days and three nights are included. Even your transportation between the ranch and the COS airport is included – no need to rent a vehicle! (you are responsible for your own means of getting to and from the COS airport)
If you’ve read this far and think this event may be for you and your daughter, here are some more of the logistics:
- Wednesday: Arrive at the Colorado Springs (COS) airport by 1:00PM, at the very latest. The ride to the ranch will leave at exactly 1:30PM, and will leave on time.
- There is no individual driving to BASECAMP, you will join other fathers and daughters on the ride to the ranch. Those who are local can meet together at COS and share a ride (Note, if you want to volunteer to drive some of your fellow fathers and daughters, you must have a 4WD vehicle that can handle off road mountain driving).
- The event begins on the ride to the ranch, which will take just over an hour from the airport up to the ranch in the mountains. You will get to know the other fathers and daughters while you experience a real mountain road drive. The last 40 minutes of the ride includes miles that are unpaved, gravel, bumpy, rocks, one-lane turns, and incredible mountain views. Just getting to the ranch is an adventure itself!
- Wednesday through Saturday experience the full CHERISH event.
- Saturday: Return to the Colorado Springs (COS) airport by 3:30PM so that you can return home that evening, attend church on Sunday, spend time with your family, and reflect on all that took place during CHERISH.

IMPORTANT NOTE NUMBER ONE: There is no cell service at the ranch, and we will ask everyone to keep their phones in Airplane mode. (There is a landline in the main office of the ranch for emergencies.)
IMPORTANTE NOTE NUMBER TWO: As we will be outside in the mountains during this event, everyone is required to sign liability release forms. In addition to the outdoor adventures, we will be in the mountains where bear, elk, moose, mountain lions, and other wildlife have been spotted. The forms must be signed before leaving the airport on Wednesday.
Even though this is not an intense or dangerous event, we take safety very seriously.
IMPORTANT NOTE NUMBER THREE: If you have ever had altitude sickness, asthma, heart issues, breathing issues, or anything that could impede you at altitude, you need to consult with your doctor, and receive medial clearance before attending CHERISH. You will be signing liability waivers and will be on the ranch a long distance from emergency services.
IMPORTANT NOTE NUMBER FOUR: The ranch where CHERISH is held does not allow drinking alcohol or smoking of any kind.

Yes! The foundation of all our work is Jesus and Scripture. This is definitely and proudly a Christian event.
This event is for daughters who are 14-18 years old.
As our daughters grow up they deal with challenges that are unique to their age ranges. We provide a safe and positive environment for daughters to connect with one another. As every parent of a daughter knows, the daily life of a 12-year-old daughter and a 19 year old daughter are very different.
Yes, all meals are included with registration. Food allergies must be noted during registration.
Yes, for the cabins, adult female chaperone/supervision is present. Fathers and daughters stay in separate cabins during this retreat.
Yes, the cabins have hot water and electricity. The cabins are multiple people in bunk beds, with bedding provided by the ranch. This is not an event of roughing it or sleeping on the ground!
There is no cell service at the ranch. In an emergency situation, there are landline numbers for calling out and for calling in.
All our events are small events, as we find that leads to the best conversations and the best overall experience.
This event will be limited to ten fathers and ten daughters.
