Doubt is an interesting conversation around Christians. Some openly embrace and encourage times of doubt and questioning. While others openly are against and discourage such times. For many Christians, the truth is that we have doubt from time to time, whether we want to admit it or not.
The reality is that we have questions. We wonder. We think about alternatives. And sometimes we aren’t sure of things in our Christianity. Thankfully we have a faith that allows for those questions, and we can see, going back to the original disciples, that asking questions is part of the faith itself.
The men who walked side-by-side with Jesus had questions, they had things that they did not understand, they had times when they doubted. It’s important that we follow the example Jesus and the Bible sets regarding doubt. He answered and taught them the right way forward.
