LAUNCH is a unique and once-in-a-lifetime experience for Christian fathers and their teenage sons.
Join us for an unforgettable four days and three nights, June 3-6 2026, in the incredible mountains of Colorado.
Fathers and sons are under assault in this world. Constant distraction, constant temptation, social media, and attacks that make it all too easy for them to drift apart without even realizing it. The enemy of this world is thrilled when this happens, and then our sons launch out into the world without being prepared.
On top of that, our culture seems to be in constant motion against Godly manhood, seeking to pull fathers and sons down and prevent them from living the life that God has called them to live.
As a father and son, you have been called to live with courage, to live with conviction, and to boldly go forward in this world. Both of you need to be prepared for the next phase of life.
LAUNCH is a challenging event designed for fathers and sons to prepare for what comes next in life, to strengthen their relationship, have lots of fun, and grow in faith – all with just the right amount of adventure and activities thrown in.
The foundation of the entire event is the truth of Scripture, and the Good News of Jesus.
PREPARE FOR WHAT'S NEXT
LAUNCH is designed to help fathers and sons prepare for what is coming next in life. We’ll be digging into questions like:
For sons – what does it mean to be a young man living in this world after high school? What does it mean to be a man? How is a man to live?
For fathers – what does it mean to be the father of a young man who is living in this world? What does it look like to support your son through this time?
The MISSION
LAUNCH is created to strengthen the bond between father and son, and to get ready for the next phase of life. Getting away from the screens, the noise, and the busyness of every day life creates an opportunity to connect on a whole new level.
This is done through the powerful learning sessions, through the challenging and activities, through the great meals, and through the entire experience. Every moment is designed to help fathers and sons on their journey through this life – all based on the foundation of Jesus and Scripture.
The ADVENTURE
While the learning sessions are important, this event is not just about those moments. During the LAUNCH experience, fathers and sons will have lots of fun!
We’ll enjoy some challenging activities outside and fun moments we can’t tell you about yet – we don’t want to spoil the surprise!
Note: Since we’ll be outside at over 9,000 feet, everyone will have to sign the waiver forms, and be ready to enjoy the mountain fun!
Second Note: Based on weather conditions, the outdoor activities may be limited, altered, or cancelled.
The RANCH
All lodging is included in your enrollment at LAUNCH. And this isn’t “conference hotel room” style lodging, this is the real Colorado.
Fathers and sons will be in separate cabins. Adult supervision will be provided in the son’s cabin.
The cabins are shared, with hot water and electricity. On the ranch are hand-crafted log buildings, including some built over 100 years ago. This is an incredible and unforgettable mountain experience.
The FOOD
All meals are included in LAUNCH, however this isn’t “hotel” food, this is outstanding mountain food provided by the private chef and staff of the ranch.
If you want to bring your favorite snacks along for yourself to enjoy while on your hikes you’re welcomed to, but your meals will be plentiful and memorable.

The benefits extend far beyond the day you head back home. One of our prayers with this event is that the relationship between father and son becomes stronger year after year, for decades to come. This event leads to generational impact.
Through the fun moments, the exciting adventures, the learning sessions, and the time spent together, this event is designed to create and strengthen the lasting connection between father an son as they follow Christ together.
This is an All-Inclusive Event which costs only $1950!
If you and your son attend LAUNCH your registration will cover 100% of the costs during the event. The chef who prepares the food and all your meals are included. The cabins and lodging are included. The staff who takes care of the ranch and all your lodging is included. All your books and learning materials are included. The equipment for activities (ropes, harnesses, helmets, etc…) are included. The costs for the certified mountaineers who run the rock climbing are included. All the training sessions over the four days and three nights are included. Even your transportation between the ranch and the COS airport is included – no need to rent a vehicle! (You are responsible for your own means of getting to and from the COS airport. Most people fly into town.)
If you’ve read this far and think this event may be for you and your son, and you want even more details, here are some more of the logistics:
Wednesday: Arrive at the Colorado Springs (COS) airport by 1:00PM, at the very latest. The ride to the ranch will leave at exactly 1:30PM, and will leave on time.
There is no individual driving to LAUNCH, you will join other fathers and sons on the ride to the ranch. Those who are local can meet together at COS and share a ride (Note, if you want to volunteer to drive some of your fellow fathers and sons, you must have a 4WD vehicle that can handle rough mountain driving).
The event begins on the ride to the ranch, which will take just over an hour from the airport up to the ranch in the mountains. You will get to know the other fathers and sons while you experience a real mountain road drive. The last 40 minutes of the ride includes miles that are unpaved, gravel, bumpy, rocks, one-lane turns, and incredible mountain views. Just getting to the ranch is an adventure itself!
Wednesday through Saturday experience the full LAUNCH event.
Saturday: Return to the Colorado Springs (COS) airport by 3:30PM so that you can return home that evening, attend church on Sunday, spend time with your family, and reflect on all that took place during LAUNCH.

IMPORTANT NOTE NUMBER ONE: There is no cell service at the ranch, and we will ask everyone to keep their phones in Airplane mode. (There is a landline in the main office of the ranch for emergencies.)
IMPORTANTE NOTE NUMBER TWO: As we will be outside in the mountains during this event, everyone is required to sign liability release forms. In addition to the outdoor adventures, we will be in the mountains where bear, elk, moose, mountain lions, and other wildlife have been spotted. The forms must be signed before leaving the airport on Wednesday.
Even though this is not an intense or dangerous event, we take safety very seriously.
IMPORTANT NOTE NUMBER THREE: If you have ever had altitude sickness, asthma, heart issues, breathing issues, or anything that could impede you at altitude, you need to consult with your doctor, and receive medial clearance before attending LAUNCH . You will be signing liability waivers and will be on the ranch a long distance from emergency services.
IMPORTANT NOTE NUMBER FOUR: The ranch where LAUNCH is held does not allow drinking alcohol or smoking of any kind.

Yes! The foundation of all our work is Jesus and Scripture. This is definitely and proudly a Christian event.
This event is for sons who are 14-18 years old at the time of the event.
As our sons grow up they deal with challenges that are unique to their age ranges. We provide a safe and positive environment for sons to connect with one another. As every parent of a son knows, the daily life of a 12-year-old son and a 19 year old son are very different.
Yes, all meals are included with registration. Food allergies must be noted during registration.
Yes, and for the cabins, adult chaperone/supervision is present. Fathers and sons stay in separate cabins during this retreat.
Yes, the cabins have hot water and electricity. The cabins are multiple people in bunk beds, with bedding provided by the ranch. This is not an event of roughing it or sleeping on the ground!
There is no cell service at the ranch. In an emergency situation, there are landline numbers for calling out and for calling in.
All our events are small events, as we find that leads to the best conversations and the best overall experience.
This event will be limited to ten fathers and ten sons.
